Toyota Global Auto Sales to Top 10 Million
Toyota’s global automobile sales are expected to top 10 million units in 2009. Toyota is expected to set its 2009 target of global sales, including vehicles made by its Daihatsu Motor and Hino Motors at 10.3 million to 10.4 million units, against its 2008 target of 9.8 million according to company sources. Toyota is planning to boost its sales of fuel-efficient models in North America.
