Yokogawa Electric Corporation will release Plant Resource Manager (PRM) R3.12 on May 28, 2014. PRM is a software package that is capable of centrally managing large amounts of data from plant monitoring and control devices and manufacturing equipment, thereby allowing their status to be monitored and diagnosed online.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has commissioned a 600 MW thermal unit in Odisha. The unit has been commissioned at Jindal India Thermal Power Limited (JITPL)’s upcoming 2x600 MW thermal power project located at Derang in Angul District of Odisha.
BHEL has successfully loaded the machine up to 605 MW, higher than the designed capacity (Full Load), with all the operating parameters within the acceptable limits.
Valued at Rs. 26,000 Million, the order for the 2x600 MW greenfield power project, was placed on BHEL by JITPL.
