Welspun Global Brands Implements PTC’s FlexPLM

PTC has completed implementation of FlexPLM, a solution for Retail, Footwear and Apparel (RFA) industries, at Welspun Global Brands.


The solution provides line planning, specification management, merchandising and other essential PLM capabilities for managing a company’s complete assortment of products.  This implementation allows Welspun to eliminate global boundaries and enhance global collaboration by providing real-time data access.


PTC started working with Welspun in 2010 months ago when their FlexPLM solution was selected to optimize product development processes. Welspun needed a solution that would enable them to reduce time required to develop new products significantly and also transform disparate processes and legacy technology platforms to provide the speed and agility required to achieve the desired growth potential.


PTC’s Strategic Services Partner for the enterprise business market in India, ITC Infotech implemented FlexPLM as the common technology across locations, enabling open innovation, global collaboration and integrated focus to reduce cycle time.
