NEI (National Engineering Industries, Jaipur) has completed its first phase of PLM implementation. The first phase of PLM implementation project covers Customer Enquiry (RFQ) Management, Product Data Management and Technology Function Management. Customer Enquiry Management supports end to end tracking of enquiries improving customer response time drastically.
Product Data Management provides single, collaborative and secured repository with critical processes such as new design release, engineering change, vendor approval, plant specific bill of materials release ensuring the data integrity.
Technology Function Management brings technology related information together in the system ensuring single source of truth across organization. The second and third phase would cover APQP based New Product Development quality solutions that include FMEA, Windchill CAPA and managing Customer complaints / failures which help to improve quality of the product and time to market.
