9dot9 Interactive brings you Indian industry's most powerful SMB gathering - Industry 2.0's 2nd Annual SMB Conclave & Awards - bringing together the Top 500 Manufacturing SMBs from 14 different sectors, to felicitate the top players, in Delhi on 30th May, 2008.

The 2nd Annual SMB Conclave & Awards Night, 2008: Industry 2.0 has taken the lead in acknowledging the contribution of India’s "growth companies" - commonly known as Small & Medium Businesses - to the national GDP. Among these, manufacturing enterprises occupy a significant place. A recent survey by AMI Partners, suggests that 95% of India’s industrial economy is powered by medium-sized manufacturing companies. Their performance in recent years has been exemplary, and this segment of industry expects to do even better in the near term.

Committed to recognising, rewarding and promoting excellence in this fast growth sector through focused study as well as its media platforms, Industry 2.0 commissioned a first-of-its-kind research to rate India's Top Manufacturing SMBs. The SMB Top 500 ranking - introduced as a part of its Anniversary issue in August 2006 - has been acknowledged as a benchmark in the industry. Carrying the efforts forward, the first-ever Awards to felicitate these top rankers were instituted - held at Chennai in December 2006 - making a landmark in Indian Manufacturing history.

Given the overwhelming response and appreciation for the Awards, the 2nd in the series i.e. The 2nd Annual SMB Conclave and Awards Night will be held on 30th May 2008 at InterContinental The Grand, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The Award ceremony and the accompanying sessions will bring together representation from winning companies and more than 250 leaders of small & medium-sized enterprises.

This conclave aims to develop a comprehensive Roadmap for Indian manufacturing SMBs, allowing them to discover newer strategic growth paths & technology routes; benefiting both future investors as well as companies that want to be world-class in their business practices.
